Bot setup

The bot backend supports owner-authenticated, bounded polling. It does not run continuously between function invocations. Live delivery has not been verified.

  1. Set your Telegram, OpenAI, and Tavily credentials in Cloud Secrets. Never place credential values in source code.
  2. Invoke the muse function as the app owner with {"action":"inspect"}, then configure the exact secret names.
  3. Prepare polling with {"action":"start","confirmPolling":true}. This removes any existing Telegram webhook without discarding queued messages.
  4. Send a message to your bot in Telegram, then invoke {"action":"poll"}. Wait for each invocation to finish before polling again.
  5. Check receipts with {"action":"status"} and verify the reply in Telegram.
